Throughout history, people sought protection from evil, shaping various beliefs. In ancient Rome, Evil Eye mosaics at entrances repelled negativity. The mosaic’s animal figures symbolized protection, while “KAICY” in ancient Greek meant “and you,” reflecting goodwill to the kind and negativity to ill-wishers.
